Pay no attention to the blogger behind the curtain.

Forgive the bad “Wizard of Oz” reference, but I’m about to reveal more about our blog than I should.

We have a number of different ways for choosing topics for our blog entries about part-time jobs. Sometimes (but not that often) we’ll research a topic for months. For example, we’ve got a big post-holiday blowout planned about how method actors actually worked the part-time jobs of the characters they portrayed. Sound riveting? Other times, we find out about a part-time job a famous person once worked. For example, did you know that Jim Carrey washed dishes before making multi-million-dollar grossing comedies? And even other times, when we’re especially lazy, we simply lean on our good friend who goes by the name Google, which is always good for a few blog entry ideas.

Sometimes people send us ideas. And that’s the point we’ve been doing a lousy job of building toward. If you have any ideas for this blog, we want to hear about them. The idea could be about Britney Spears searching for 7-Eleven jobs so she has easy access to Cheez Doodles. The story could be about the number of part-time workers needed to make the Super Bowl happen. Or it could be some boring old story about how you just got a raise. Just kidding.
