Suri Cruise joins America’s part-time workforce

Before he was donning eye patches in holiday blockbusters or jumping on Oprah’s couch, Tom Cruise was working as a busboy in New York City. (See, part-time jobs can lead to fame.)

Now Cruise’s and Katie Holmes’ daughter baby Suri, who was allegedly born in an alien spacecraft, is following daddy’s footsteps, sort of.

At a mere 2 years old, Suri is working as a secret shopper for the less fortunate kids out there through the program Stockings With Care. The tot is picking out dolls and other toys from famous toy store Fao Schwarz – you might remember it from the movie “Big” – which will then be distributed to kids who wouldn’t otherwise receive gifts this holiday. Isn’t that sweet?

We salute baby Suri for her kindness, even if she has no freakin’ clue what she was doing and drooled on the would-be dolls and games. At least Suri already has resume writing fodder for her first job search now.
